The Difference between Coaching and Mentoring
- While both are alike, they differ in their goals, mentoring focuses on developing one’s career, while coaching focuses on developing a certain area or solving a specific issue
Conflict Resolution
Problems will arise and conflicts will commence, but resolving this conflict in an effective and professional way is the key to success. The steps to achieve this are as follows:
- Talk with the other person
- Focus on behaviour and events, not on personalities
- Listen carefully
