Make sure you are compliant with Bill 168 – Violence and Harassment in the Workplace? You have a yearly obligation under the Health and Safety Act to review your policies and program and train your staff. A re-assessment may be required if you have changes to the physical environment or have had an incident of violence or harassment in the workplace.

What does this mean for Ontario employers? Not complying with the new requirements could result in fines from the Ministry of Labour (MOL) of up to $500,000 for an organization, or up to $25,000 and/or jail time for an individual. Click here for a checklist on becoming compliant.

Our Client is a full service custom steel fabricating company offering its services to a wide variety of clients including Residential, Commercial and the Industrial sectors. Our client has the ability to work with light to medium sheet steels. Clients Mission is to provide the very best value in Stainless Steel Services through quality work and commitment to our clients. With the highest level of integrity, the client offers custom stainless steel products for a virtually unlimited list of applications.

Our client requires a fulltime shop laborer/entry level steel fabricator. The ideal candidate must:
  • Have an interest in developing skills required to succeed in a steel fabrication shop.
  • Be dependable and motivated with a clean drivers abstract.
Duties include but not limited to:
  • shop maintenance,
  • shearing,
  • material cutting,
  • grinding and
  • product delivery.

Pay rate is $12.00 an hour; paid weekly.

Hours are Monday to Friday 7:30 to 4:00

Full time position.
