Make sure you are compliant with Bill 168 – Violence and Harassment in the Workplace? You have a yearly obligation under the Health and Safety Act to review your policies and program and train your staff. A re-assessment may be required if you have changes to the physical environment or have had an incident of violence or harassment in the workplace.

What does this mean for Ontario employers? Not complying with the new requirements could result in fines from the Ministry of Labour (MOL) of up to $500,000 for an organization, or up to $25,000 and/or jail time for an individual. Click here for a checklist on becoming compliant.

Commissioned Sales Representative – January 2012

Beyond Rewards is currently recruiting for a highly motivated and enthusiastic sales professional for the Waterloo, Wellington and Dufferin regions who has experience with business to business sales, developing customer relationships and an active interest in Human Resources and Risk Management This vacancy is an exciting opportunity to develop a sales career in the highly specialized and rewarding field of Human Resources and Risk Management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively placing outgoing calls to potential customers with the goal of booking a meeting, attend potential client meetings to discuss our services and negotiate a sale. In this role you must maintain a high level of product, company and industry knowledge and actively promote the company’s brand. This position will work closely with the consulting team to build a positive team environment and will be mentored by the management and the Business Development Manager to assist in the development their knowledge and sales skills.

The Successful Candidate
  • University degree in business, marketing or related discipline with 3-5 years proven sales experience
  • Proven sales ability, comfortable cold calling prospective clients
  • Comfortable closing a sale
  • Ability to do RFP’s, Quotes and other proposals
  • Understanding of and an active interest in Human Resources, Safety and Risk Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, outgoing, competitive and prepared to contribute
  • Professional, polished and driven
  • Must have own transportation

Compensation – Straight Commission
